How can I help?

Oh my Goddess have I been there, dreading every activity that wasn’t horizontal...and even some that were ; ). I’ve been through elimination diets, gross Chinese herbs, acupuncture, saunas, you name it! I’ve done the exploring and experimenting and found healing for myself. My autoimmune condition has been in remission for quite a few years but it feels like forever! I am a Functional Medicine Health Coach that pulls from my experience as a Licensed Massage Therapist, Yoga teacher, Reiki practitioner and educator.

 

 Slow down and pay attention Symptoms are gifts. Your body wants to communicate with you. It uses imbalances and discomfort as a means of drawing your attention to what is no longer serving your best interests. Are you listening?


Joy Matters It is draining to live our lives in service to everything (and everyone) else. When was the last time you laughed or danced your ass off? Had great sex or an adventure just because it felt good? Positive emotion rewires the brain and elevates our whole system.


Food is Medicine Most of what we consume as modern day people are “food-like substances”. Incredible things happen when we eat whole foods in the way nature intended for our bodies to be nourished. I don’t subscribe to a “one way of eating fits all” mentality. I’ll help you explore what works best for you.


Movement clears Stagnation Imagine your heart beating in order to deliver nutrient rich blood throughout your body, how your food is massaged through your digestive tract, how muscles get stronger when we use them. Maintaining movement creates healthy flow.


Rest is the Best You were not designed to to grind from dawn ‘til dusk, my sweet. That path leads only in one direction: directly to burnout. You were made for watching sunsets, staring out the window, naps and snuggles. You were also made for 8 hours of regular daily sleep. There is no resiliency in an unrested, unslept immune system.
